Exits & Renewals
You shall not sell, assign, transfer, or in any other way dispose of, the whole or part of any of the rights in relation to your Music Lessons Academy Centre, without the prior written consent of Music Lessons Academy.
The granting of a franchise to a potential purchaser is not automatic. Music Lessons Academy must first give approval to the potential franchise partner and comply with the requirements of the Franchising Code of Conduct (or such other statutory requirements in your relevant state, region or territory) before a new franchise can be granted.
Music Lessons Academy have the first right of refusal should when a franchise territory is put on the market for sale.
The purchaser, if considered suitable by Music Lessons Academy, will be sent our Disclosure Document and will go through the exact same process as you went through in your introduction to Music Lessons Academy.
Please remember that approving a new franchise partner is not automatic and Music Lessons Academy abides by the processes established for transferring a franchise as per the Franchising Code of Conduct.
Therefore, once the required documents have been signed off by the purchaser, a Franchise Agreement must be entered into by the purchaser.
If you wish to renew your agreement for an additional term, please contact Head Office who will guide you through the process.
You must ensure that you contact the Head Office during the time periods set out in your Agreement for renewal.
